Ragtime is a 16.2, 10 year old Hanoverian Stallion. As a three year old he received top scores at his 100 day test, including receiving the high score for rideability. Ragtime has been a consistent champion in the Regular Working and the Regular Conformation Hunter divisions. He finished 4th in the country in 2004 in the Regular Conformation Hunters. He was also the American Hanoverian Society Champion in both the Regular Working and Regular Conformation Hunters.

This year, 2006, Ragtime has been Champion or Reserve every time out and was named overall Grand Champion Regular Working Hunter at the Pebble Beach Summer Shows.
Just to test Ragtime’s versatility, he visits the jumper ring from time to time. Ragtime’s first jumper outing of 2006 resulted in a big win of the $5,000.00 jumper suitability stake at the Golden State Horse Show. When he’s not winning in the Regular Working Hunters, Ragtime has been competitive in the Level 6 jumpers!

A proven performer, Ragtime is producing offspring who possess his good looks, great temperament and athleticism. Both of his grandsires have had a major impact on Sporthorse breeding and so far, according to the mare owners with Ragtime foals, all those great bloodlines are resulting in quality foals. Sporthorse breeders presenting their Ragtime foals at the Oldenburg inspections have been rewarded with great scores. Rococo, a 2006 filly just scored premium with an 8.2. Reggae, a 2005 gelding by Ragtime was Reserve Best Young Horse at the Pebble Beach Festivals. Both Reggae and Rhythm of the Night, a 2005 filly, have been consistently first or second in the yearling classes.
